Active School Flag

Active School Week will be held at Scoil Pádraig Naofa from June 24th to 27th. During this week, committee members, consisting of two children from each class, will propose various activities to ensure everyone stays active in a safe and enjoyable manner. Additionally, each class will participate in fun challenge videos designed to get everyone moving!

Every class enthusiastically engaged in the Active School Flag's 'Run Around Europe' challenge. Each class embarked on a journey to reach various European destinations, including Warsaw, Oslo, London, and more. Over a dynamic 4-week period, our students achieved these destinations by actively running and walking on our amazing running track. These invigorating movement breaks not only provided children with the chance to move and re-energize but also fostered cross-curricular connections. Students delved into mathematical calculations of distances and explored European geography, making this challenge an enriching and holistic learning experience.
