Wellbeing Week in Our School 🌿
We had a truly uplifting and positive Wellbeing Week in our school community, filled with meaningful activities that supported both our mental and emotional health.

A huge thank you to Fiona, our wonderful yoga teacher, who delivered a fantastic wellness talk to the children. She spoke about the importance of looking after our minds and bodies, managing worries, and taking time to breathe and reset. The children learned practical strategies they can use every day — from simple breathing techniques to positive self-talk.

Throughout the week, classes explored lessons on kindness and gratitude. Pupils reflected on what they are thankful for, wrote gratitude notes, and carried out small acts of kindness within their classrooms and playground. It was heartwarming to see such empathy, encouragement and positivity among our students.

Our much-anticipated Pyjama Day brought great excitement and comfort to the week! The school was full of cosy slippers and big smiles as we raised funds for the incredible work of Pieta House. We sincerely thank our families for their generosity and support of such an important cause.

We presented our Kindness Awards to one student in each class who consistently demonstrates compassion, respect and thoughtfulness towards others. These awards celebrate the quiet everyday actions that make our school such a caring place to learn and grow.

Wellbeing Week reminded us all that looking after our mental health, practising gratitude, and showing kindness can make a big difference — not just for ourselves, but for everyone around us. 💛
